最初の質問はこの紹介から。その後は回答に沿って続きました。
Hi! A mug on a table. I had imagined going straight to landscapes. We spent most of the session looking at the handle, which was harder than I expected.
I kept drawing what I thought a mug should look like. The teacher moved my chair a little and asked me to look again. From that seat, you could hardly see through the handle at all.

Not entirely. I was used to knowing my job. I kept checking other people’s pages, even though nobody was grading us. I nearly put mine in the bin afterward.
We were told to bring the same sketchbook back. Very practical reason, really. Now I’m glad it’s there because I can see that I’ve improved a little.
At a bench near my old streetcar route. I draw the shelter while I wait for a friend. Buses are too fast for me, so they tend to become rectangles.
Eventually. For now I’d like to finish a page without apologizing for it when someone looks over. I still say “I’ve only just started” much too quickly.
