This page explains what is public and what stays private.
What is public
Your introduction, languages, boundaries and completed Q&A are public in every identity mode. Nickname mode also shows your nickname, avatar, city and profile link. Random nickname and Anonymous hide your avatar, city and profile link. Skipped questions, declined requests, drafts and who stopped are not public.
What we store
Your email for login, your profile, interview messages with their translations, reports and an audit trail of moderator actions. Analytics events contain ids and categories only — never the text of a question or answer.
Google translation
Text selected for translation and its language codes are sent to Google Translate. Your login email is never included. Translations are cached by content hash so the same sentence is processed once.
Your controls
You can flag translations of your own words, block people, report content and request human review or emergency hiding. Account deletion separates your identity from already-published works according to our public-content policy.
